“I have been around in this business for over 40 years. Starting out in my teens, working with my Parent's Theatre Company, the job of designing the lighting was bestowed upon me and I have been totally fascinated with lighting design ever since”.
“In the mid 70's I spent two very happy years at LAMDA and immersed myself in the day to day activities completely. Being a student was a joy and I would try to be there for every event, class, activity, lecture, production, rehearsal etc. I performed the role of Lighting Designer for several shows whilst I was there. I joined the Redgrave Theatre Farnham for a few months (still a student) and then moved on via Northampton Rep, Lincoln Theatre Royal, Harrogate Theatre (8 tears as Resident Lighting Designer) and then without a pause for thought... launched myself into a freelance career in Lighting Design! I am very grateful for having survived this business for this long!”
“Not intending for a moment to stop, I also own and operate a Web Design and Multimedia Presentations firm... and... if that's not enough, I also Lecture in “Technical Theatre” at The University of Lincoln.”
